With a career in Art, Design, and Business that spans over three decades, the move to Data Analytics seems extreme. Before I started this journey, I may have agreed with that statement. Working with a client on a Design project or a Stakeholder to create a visualization, the required skills are similar.

Being able to bring all of these attributes from my time in the Art and Business world to the field of Data Analytics has proven to be a great asset. I have discovered that there is a deep satisfaction in uncovering the hidden information in the sea of data that helps answer a critical question, provide some insight, or narrate a story. I feel the same satisfaction when a design comes together for a client.
